Summer is quickly approaching and it is time to make plans for your student. Fountainhead Montessori School has ten weeks’ worth of enriching and fun summer camp programming. Your student can join in for one week or all ten – the choice is yours. And, children do not have to be a student at Fountainhead Montessori to participate in the summer programs. This means that you can invite friends and family that do not attend FMS to consider joining your student for summer camp.

Programs for children ages 5-12

The summer camp program at Fountainhead Montessori School is designed for students ages 5-12. Your child must be at least 5 by June 1, 2020 in order to attend camp. The camp programming is designed to meet the unique needs of children in this age range.

Meet the diverse needs of children and the demanding needs of parents

Students have diverse needs and parents have demanding schedules – we understand this at Fountainhead Montessori School. The summer camp program is designed to meet the unique needs of students by providing options that engage their minds and bodies. The camps are in session from 9:00 to 3:00 each weekday. If you need before or aftercare for your camper, that is available from 7:00 to 9:00 and 3:00 to 6:30. Before and aftercare give you the flexibility to make it to work in the mornings and back home for pickup in the evenings. It removes the pressure and frustration of dealing with the logistics of making other drop-off and pickup arrangements for your child.

Themed programing

Each summer, there is a theme for the camp programming at Fountainhead Montessori School. For the summer of 2020, the theme is ‘Hands-On Fun’. The programming includes hands-on activities such as crafts, sports, and camp games. There are activities to meet every camper’s interests.

Language immersion

This summer at Fountainhead Montessori School students also have the opportunity to go to language immersion camp. Students can spend a week immersed in Spanish or Mandarin. These camps offer full immersion with native speaking instructors.

Technology camps

Campers also have the option of going to the technology summer camps offered by Fountainhead Montessori School. These camps are a regular part of the FMS summer camp program and are a big hit with campers.

The summer camp program at Fountainhead Montessori School has something to offer everyone. Each week has a unique focus that fits within the theme so your child can come to all ten sessions and never get bored. You can also choose to try out regular camp one week, language immersion another week, and then a technology camp. The summer programs at FMS are designed to be fun and flexible in order to meet the needs of both students and parents.
